At 2 Shirts Ministry, our mission is inspired by the biblical call to share what we have: anyone with two shirts should give to the person who has none. This season, as part of our Summer of Service program, we are incredibly blessed to assist a beautiful, grassroots effort happening right here in our own backyard: Angela & Amber’s Blessings.
Angela and Amber began their journey in November 2025 with a clear, selfless mission to feed and minister to the homeless and those in need throughout Lincolnton and the surrounding areas. At least once a week—whenever they have the opportunity—they cook and plate food, and head out into the community. As they beautifully put it, they seek “No Glory to us, but only to God and God alone.”
Overwhelming Care, Compassion, and Connection
What makes Angela and Amber truly special isn’t just the physical resources they provide; it is their genuine heart for ministry. They show overwhelming care, concern, and deep compassion for their Lincolnton neighbors.
When they go out into the community, they don’t just hand out supplies and walk away. They take the time to talk, listen, and pray with the people they help. They meet individuals exactly where they are, offering a listening ear and spiritual comfort alongside physical relief. Since April, Angela & Amber’s Blessings has served an incredible 525 meals to hungry individuals in our area.
How 2 Shirts Ministry is Supporting Their Work
At 2 Shirts Ministry, we are honored to support their hands-on work with donations and supplies. While Angela and Amber focus on cooking and serving, we are helping clothe and care for the people they meet. Through our community donations, we have been able to contribute essentials for Angela & Amber’s Blessings to distribute during their outreach:
- Brand-new socks and underwear to restore basic dignity and comfort.
- Fresh t-shirts to help our neighbors stay clean and cool.
- Sleeping bags to provide warmth and protection for unsheltered individuals.
- Bibles to offer spiritual nourishment and eternal guidance during their times of prayer.
Additionally, while 2 Shirts Ministry strictly focuses on clothing and textiles—we do not solicit food donations—we do occasionally receive food items from our generous supporters. To ensure these items are used immediately by those who need them most, we direct 100% of these unexpected food donations straight into the hands of Angela and Amber to help fuel their meal runs.
