Every summer brings new opportunities to put faith into action. Through Summer of Service, 2 Shirts Ministry is dedicating the season to meeting practical needs, serving our neighbors, and sharing the love of Christ through compassionate outreach.
Summer of Service is a focused effort to provide meals, clothing, encouragement, and essential resources to individuals and families in need while sharing the hope found in Jesus Christ.

This summer, 2 Shirts Ministry is sponsoring two missionaries who minister directly to some of our community’s most vulnerable neighbors.
Together, they provide more than 75 meals each week to individuals who cannot access traditional meal programs because of transportation challenges, health concerns, mobility limitations, or other barriers. Throughout the summer, this ministry will help provide approximately 900 meals while building relationships and sharing Christ’s love with those who are often overlooked.
In addition to meal ministry, Summer of Service will help provide seasonal clothing and essential items, including new socks, underwear, shoes, hygiene products, and warm-weather clothing for individuals experiencing hardship. Every meal served, every item distributed, and every conversation shared creates an opportunity to demonstrate the love of Christ in a practical and meaningful way.

Meal Ministry Supplies
- To-go food containers (3-compartment and hot dog containers)

- Quart-size and gallon-size Ziploc bags

Clothing & Personal Care
- New socks and underwear (Men’s M–XL; Women’s standard sizes)
- New or gently used sneakers and walking shoes
- Shoe inserts (such as Dr. Scholl’s)
- New or gently used warm-weather clothing for men and women
- Feminine hygiene products
Encouragement & Discipleship
- Paperback Bibles
- Handwritten notes and cards of encouragement and hope
